京都市 文化芸術授業（ようこそアーティスト）プロジェクトにてアニメつくり体験を実施しました
「絵が動いた！」という感動を。
先日、京都市 ようこそアーティストというプロジェクトの一環で、京都市立藤ノ森小学校の生徒さんと一緒にアニメの制作ワークショップを行いました。
当日はプロのアニメーターである斉藤拓也さんを講師に招き、コマドリアニメーションが制作できるアプリ「KOMA KOMA」を活用した映像制作や、実際に描いた絵を動かすアニメーション制作のワークショップを実施しました。
まずは視聴覚室にて、全クラス一斉の導入授業からスタート。講師による自己紹介では、実際にプロが手がけた作品が披露され、その緻密な動きに児童たちからは大きな歓声が上がりました。講師による作画実演では、「印象」をどう伝えるかという点を絵や映像を見ながら解説いただきました。
後半は各教室に戻り、いよいよ実践編です。
今回は、地域にちなんだ「馬の走り」のアニメーションを制作しました。班ごとにテーマを決め、テーマに沿った「馬の走り」をグループで制作しました。プロのアニメーターは１日にどれだけ枚数が描けるかも重要！という講師のコメントを聞き、子供たちの自由な発想で「自分たちだけの馬」を制限時間内に描き込んでいました。
描き上げた絵を1枚ずつ撮影し、最後はクラス全員で完成した作品を鑑賞しました。
再生ボタンを押した瞬間、自分たちが描いた馬が画面の中で力強く走り出す様子を見て、教室中が大盛り上がりのうちに授業が終了しました。
アニメ制作を通した素敵なチームワークが見られた一日でした。

2007年度（平成19年度）から開始。京都を拠点に活動する芸術家（伝統文化から現代アートまで）が、小学校等で直接授業を行うプロジェクトです。子どもたちが直接文化芸術に触れる機会を創出することにより、豊かな感性や人間性を育むとともに、京都の文化芸術を支え、継承と創造をしていく次世代の「担い手」「支え手」となる若者を育成することを目指します。

We held an animation workshop as part of the 'Kyoto City: Welcome Artist' project!
"The Joy of Seeing Drawings Come to Life!"
Recently, as part of the "Kyoto City: Welcome Artist" project, we held an animation production workshop with students at Kyoto City Fujinomori Elementary School.
For this event, we invited professional animator Takuya Saito as a guest lecturer. The workshop featured video production using "KOMA KOMA" (a stop-motion animation app) and a hands-on session where students created animations by moving their own drawings.
The day began in the audio-visual room with an introductory session for all classes. During the lecturer's self-introduction, he showcased some of his professional work, drawing loud cheers from the children as they witnessed the intricate movements. Mr. Saito also gave a live drawing demonstration, explaining how to convey specific "impressions" through art and video.
In the second half, students returned to their classrooms for the practical session. The theme for this workshop was "A Galloping Horse," inspired by the local area. Each group chose a specific concept and worked together to animate a horse based on that theme. Upon hearing from the instructor that for a professional animator, the number of frames completed in a day is crucial, the children let their imaginations run wild, drawing their own unique horses within the time limit.
Once the drawings were finished, each one was photographed frame by frame. Finally, the entire class gathered to watch the completed works. The moment the play button was pressed and their horses began to gallop powerfully across the screen, the classroom erupted in excitement.
It was a wonderful day that showcased great teamwork through the art of animation.
